Overview
UI-UX Designer Responsibilities
Research Plan and conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing
Be a promoter of usability, inclusiveness, and accessibility Develop personas, journey maps, user flows, and sitemaps Drive design solutions that are informed by data (quantitative and qualitative) Design Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to uncover user needs, translating them into engaging and intuitive solutions Handle multiple client projects simultaneously in various stages of development process Efficiently iterate designs with a mobile-first approach Design sketches, wireframes, hi-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes Work with developers to evaluate designs and specs to ensure successful implementation Build and maintain various style guides and design systems Strong visual design skills (composition, iconography, layout, typography, color theory) Collaboration Collaborate with a close-knit team of talented UX designers Work with product teams including business analysts, developers, QA, graphic designers, and business leads Demo and articulate design concepts to teammates and client stakeholders Participate in feedback from clients, internal teams, and design leadership
Qualifications
Requirements 2-5 years related work experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in design, human-computer interaction, or related field preferred Portfolio demonstrating strong UX/UI skills and design thinking required Ability to translate business problems and requirements into compelling UI Comfortable presenting design solutions to various audiences Excellent verbal and written communication skills A curious, optimistic outlook and the desire to collaborate with others Must be proficient in Figma Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS preferred Strong graphic design skills a plus
