J.Riley Recruitment is hiring: Automation Controls Designer in Warner Robins

We have been retained by our client, a growing Engineering Firm in Warner Robins, GA, to find an Automation Controls Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial automation projects in an industrial environment.

Duties:

- Design and program automation control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for industrial applications.

- Develop and implement control logic and algorithms to optimize industrial processes.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate control systems into industrial machinery and processes.

- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning in industrial settings.

- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports tailored to industrial projects.

Requirements:

- Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field is preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation controls engineering within an industrial environment.

- Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI/SCADA development for industrial applications.

- Strong understanding of industrial automation standards and protocols.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
