Linda Eyles Design, Inc., a boutique firm specializing in high-end interiors, is seeking a talented, motivated and experienced interior designer to join our dynamic Houston studio. As an Interior Designer at LED, you'll have the chance to manage high-profile residential projects from concept to completion, while collaborating closely with the Principal Designer. We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in CAD, industry experience, and the drive to contribute creatively and lead projects. Competitive compensation is available for the right candidate, with a salary range of $60k–$80k, based on experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage residential interior design projects from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with Principal Designer to develop projects’ design direction, timeline, and budget. 
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and translate them into innovative design solutions.
  • Develop and present design concepts, mood boards, and presentations with clarity and confidence.
  • Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings to support the design.
  • Source and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes. 
  • Communicate extensively with vendors, architects, and contractors.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and schedules. Create quotes and execute purchase orders.
  • Partner with Junior Designers and other team members on all aspects of projects, including design direction, drawings, sourcing, and procurement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Required minimum 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced residential interior design studio.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite a must. Knowledge of Designer Advantage a plus.
  • Strong background in FF&E processes including sourcing, creating product schedules, purchasing, tracking, and installation.
  • A keen eye for color, materiality, and furniture design coupled with a flexible approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining our high standards.
