We are seeking a skilled and versatile Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on DevOps automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable automation-based web applications while automating infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and monitoring workflows.
Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying. This role requires expertise in both application development and implementing DevOps best practices to ensure smooth development-to-deployment workflows. Your Impact
FrontEnd Development: Develop responsive user-friendly interfaces using frameworks like React and Angular.js. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure visually appealing and functional designs. BackEnd Development: Build scalable, secure, and robust server-side logic using frameworks like Node.js, Python, and Go. Design APIs (RESTful or GraphQL) and integrate third-party services. Seamlessly connect frontend interfaces with backend systems and external APIs. Backstage Implementation: Customize and extend Backstage to create a developer portal tailored to the organization's needs. Developer Experience: Improve developer productivity by integrating Backstage with tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, or GitLab. Build templates in Backstage for onboarding microservices infrastructure or CI/CD pipelines. DevOps Automation: CI/CD Pipelines:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application builds, tests, and deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or Ansible. Ensure reproducibility and scalability of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). Containerization and Orchestration: Design, build, and manage containerized environments using Docker. Automate deployment of applications in Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms. Security Automation: Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., static code analysis, vulnerability scanning). Automate compliance checks and best practices using security tools. Collaboration and Support: Work with cross-functional teams (development, operations, QA) to ensure seamless delivery of applications. Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team meetings. Automate repetitive tasks to improve team productivity and reduce manual intervention. Qualifications: Your Experience
Technical Depth: 7 years in software engineering, technology architecture, and DevOps with a demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient systems to support software development and deployment. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java for automation and tool development. Deep knowledge of distributed systems and cloud platform concepts. Solid understanding of fundamental CI/CD, GitOps, and DevOps concepts and experience with building pipelines using technologies such as GitLab and Jenkins. Proven high-growth startup experience in scaling and supporting engineering teams with the ability to lead by example and foster a high-performance culture. Operational Excellence: Deep understanding of distributed systems, reliability engineering, and incident management. Experience with building observability pipelines including metrics, logs, and distributed tracing (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry). Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL systems with a focus on reliability and scalability. Cost Optimization Expertise: Practical experience with FinOps practices including cost observability, anomaly detection, and policy enforcement. Experience building automated workflows for cost reduction and cloud resource optimization. Proven ability to design frameworks and tools that are adopted across multiple teams and scale effectively. Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, pipeline optimization, and deployment strategies. Ability to assess team maturity using data-driven methodologies and deliver tailored solutions to enhance operational practices.
