As Digital Marketing Manager you will develop and lead the implementation of effective cross-channel social media strategies and execute on plans to drive engagement, distribute content and enhance brand awareness to deepen reach and impact. This dynamic and strategic position will be responsible for the digital marketing for both a high profile public figure and a non-profit organization. You will report to the NPO Executive Director and the Political Director and work closely with the team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Lead the day-to-day operations of social channels (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube). Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase engagement and enhance awareness. Collaborate with internal and external teams to align messaging with broader organization goals. Work closely with communications team to both ensure cohesive messaging and maximize the impact of social media efforts. Formulate data benchmarks and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables to support planning. Content creation including video editing, Reels, photos, videos, graphic design/Canva and copy writing. Stay up-to-date regarding trends in social media, digital marketing and the non-profit and political sectors to enhance efforts. Handle crisis communications and reputation management. Management of website including agency management, content updates and evolution of the site as necessary. Creation and execution of email and SMS messaging and database segmentation. Real-time community management and engagement. Develop content calendars to align with communications plan. Identify and engage with influencers, partners and media to amplify reach and impact. Other tasks as needed. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years experience in developing and executing successful digital campaigns, preferably in a political context and/or mission driven organizations. Experience managing high profile social media accounts and the nuances of representing a public figure across digital media. Passion for social impact, advocacy and public engagement. Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube) and their respective analytics and audiences. Proficiency in content creation, including writing, graphic design, Canva, reels, video editing, and photography. Experience with data analysis and campaign tracking tools. Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice to appeal to different audiences. Knowledge of social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.) and email/CRM platforms. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Thrives in fast pace environment. Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
