About the role: Rhone is seeking a Senior Manager of Social Media & Content to lead and expand our brand’s digital presence, driving engagement and connection across key platforms. In this role, you will own the strategy, execution, and performance of Rhone’s organic social media and content marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with the brand’s mission, creative vision, and growth objectives. You’ll work cross-functionally to support key brand initiatives across retail, partnerships, and community activations—making sure our social presence amplifies and enhances the broader marketing strategy. Reporting to the VP of Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive social and content strategy. This includes overseeing content creation, community engagement, and performance analytics across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. In addition, manage the Content Marketing Coordinator, oversee daily content planning and scheduling, and ensure all creative assets align with our brand voice and objectives. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic leader with deep expertise in social media and content marketing, a strong understanding of digital trends, and a proven track record of building engaged communities and driving brand growth. What you’ll do: Social & Content Strategy:
Develop and execute a holistic organic social and content strategy that aligns with Rhone’s brand objectives, ensuring a consistent and impactful presence across all platforms. Team Leadership:
Directly manage and mentor the Content Marketing Coordinator, fostering professional growth and ensuring seamless execution of content initiatives. Content Development:
Oversee the creation, curation, and execution of high-quality, engaging content that showcases Rhone’s product innovations, partnerships, influencer collaborations, events, and retail experiences. Community Engagement:
Lead efforts to cultivate and engage Rhone’s social media audience, building strong relationships with our community and amplifying brand loyalty. Budget Management:
Oversee the social and content budget, making strategic decisions on content production, influencer partnerships, and platform investments to maximize ROI. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the creative, copy, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure all content aligns with broader brand initiatives. Performance & Analytics Reporting:
Track and analyze key performance metrics, using insights to optimize content strategy and inform future initiatives. Present insights, strategies, and recommendations to senior and executive leadership—articulating the why behind every initiative and how it contributes to our growth. Trend & Industry Monitoring:
Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and content innovations, continuously evolving Rhone’s digital presence to maintain relevance and impact. What you’ll bring: 5-7+ years of experience in social media and content marketing, with a proven track record of leading strategy, managing teams, and driving engagement and growth. Deep understanding of organic social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) and expertise in crafting tailored strategies for each. Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing direct reports and fostering team growth. Experience in budget management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact. A data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable insights. Exceptional storytelling, content development, and creative direction skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
