Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Social Media Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Social Media Project Coordinator will support the Creative Project Manager in managing client social media projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, have a general knowledge of social media platforms and best practices, and exude a passion for project coordination/management.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Workflow: Assist in managing the workflow of client social media projects, ensuring smooth transitions from one phase to the next.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Social Media Managers and Creative Project Manager to coordinate project goals and deadlines.
- Team Resource Management: Assist in managing team resources by assigning projects based on team members' workload and expertise.
- Facilitate Meetings: Help organize and facilitate team meetings, including kick-off, status, and retrospective meetings. Track open issues, take notes, provide action items and reports, and follow up to ensure timely completion.
- Information Gatekeeping: Ensure all necessary information is provided to team members to begin work on deliverables.
- Project Timeline Management: Assist in establishing, maintaining, and adjusting project timelines.
- Content Collaboration Scheduling: Schedule and enforce collaborations for content planning for both paid and organic social media campaigns.
- Asset Coordination: Coordinate the delivery, edits, and final approval of social media plans, assets, and reports in collaboration with Account Managers.
- Delivery of Paid Assets: Ensure timely delivery of paid social media assets to digital media strategists.
- Resource Utilization: Utilize established resources, tools, processes, and techniques while identifying new options that could benefit the team.
- Workflow Efficiency: Identify potential workflow efficiencies within the team and across departments.
- Adaptability: Be prepared to take on other duties as needed, as this position is in a rapidly evolving field.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in social media or digital marketing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
