Creative X is looking for a Creative Director with a conceptual background to create groundbreaking work across all advertising and marketing touch points. This role will partner with marketers, producers, and researchers to develop creative on behalf of our family of brands (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook), cultivating a vision for how our brands manifest across surfaces and integrated channels, guiding our internal and external agencies. Our ideal candidate will have experience leading strategic efforts to execute across film, experiential marketing, social media, web, out-of-home, and events. Experience thriving in a fast-paced, iterative, unstructured environment is critical.

Creative Director Responsibilities

  1. Supervise the strategy and creative direction of consumer-facing campaigns for our family of brands.
  2. Manage development of creative executions across all channels that strongly resonate, while maintaining consistency for the brand.
  3. Partner with creative agencies as well as roll up sleeves to develop original breakthrough ideas for a variety of marketing touch-points.
  4. Partner closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, communications planning, organic social and influencer, media) across all work streams to influence and align on business efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. 12+ years experience in building consumer brands globally.
  2. Experience developing and managing consumer marketing programs in an integrated marketing environment.
  3. Creative Direction experience across TV, digital, experiential, and ideas that drive earned media.
  4. Experience partnering with and influencing Chief Marketing Officers and other executive stakeholders.
  5. Communication and presentation skills to build relationships with internal leadership and manage their expectations.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience pursuing emerging technologies.
  2. Experience leading with creative vision, purpose, and innovation.
  3. Experience working on global campaigns.
  4. Portfolio showcasing awarded work (Cannes-Lions, The One Show, The Clios, etc.).

$174,000/year to $246,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or sales incentives, if applicable.
