Short Form Video Editor – Contract Role
About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Short Form Video Editor to edit and refine customer-focused videos for a SaaS company. This role is not highly creative or trend-driven but instead requires a structured, polished approach to short-form content. The ideal candidate has experience editing professional, business-oriented videos and understands how to craft clear, concise stories that align with a company’s brand guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce short-form video content for customer-focused videos (e.g., testimonials, product overviews, educational clips).
- Work with raw footage to create clean, engaging edits with a professional tone.
- Ensure videos maintain brand consistency and adhere to business-oriented aesthetics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute structured video concepts efficiently.
- Assist with page layouts and design elements as needed.
- Manage assets and deliver final files in proper formats.
Requirements:
- Portfolio is required. Do not apply without a portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (required).
- Experience editing business-focused video content (not entertainment or social media trends).
- Ability to work within a structured, professional format rather than a highly creative, experimental style.
- Strong understanding of short-form content trends in a business setting (e.g., LinkedIn videos, customer success stories, SaaS explainer videos).
- Knowledge of InDesign for page layout work.
- Experience with Figma (a plus, but not required).
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with remote teams.
