About the Role:
The Sr. Analyst, Affiliate & Influencer role at Ovative Group is an opportunity for an experienced candidate to take on a unique opportunity at a fast-growing company that has the highest standards for talent, fun, and client success. The ideal candidate demonstrates great critical and analytical thinking, has a good understanding of affiliate and influencer marketing, and is motivated by driving results for our clients. This person will play a pivotal role in helping Ovative continue our journey toward measuring and optimizing to the true enterprise impact, not solely ecommerce impacts.
Responsibilities of a Sr. Analyst, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing:
Cross-functional strategy & thought leadership:
- Act as a subject matter expert for Affiliate & Influencer strategies by continually evolving Ovative’s approach to best practices, vetting and partnering with new affiliate and influencer partners, managing planning and execution tools, and staying on top of emerging trends.
- Develop and drive forward multi-channel digital media strategies and roadmaps applying solid understanding of client-specific information, from overarching business strategy to industry trends, key products, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform all content and campaign interactions.
- Understand and find synergies across digital channels within the client mix in partnership with other team members.
Performance media management & execution:
- Build Affiliate & Influencer strategies for clients and lead tactical planning and execution.
- Lead day-to-day management and optimization of blended influencer and affiliate campaigns with exceptional execution and in partnership with the broader team. This is inclusive of:
- Program and campaign planning, strategy and plan documentation.
- Clearly defining objectives, tactics, and metrics for clients.
- Custom analysis, reporting, and insights.
- Publisher & influencer agreements, billings, transaction inquiries, and compliance.
- Client communication regarding all elements of affiliate & influencer programs.
- Partner with our in-house measurement team to develop industry-leading measurement capabilities.
- Create proactive communications and POVs for internal teams and clients regarding Affiliate & Influencer opportunities and other digital media topics.
- Vet and partner with new publishers, develop relationships with existing publishers, and manage planning and execution for your clients. Foster strategic relationships with key publishers and tools that pull the channel forward.
- Source, vet, and manage influencer relationships directly and with talent management agencies to facilitate contracts, campaign tracking, build creative briefs, facilitate content approval, and post-campaign reporting.
Client relationship management:
- Seek to understand the client’s business/industry and understand how their work connects to the broader project and client goals.
- Lead development and delivery of client-facing solutions, including:
- Clearly defining program objectives, tactics, and KPIs.
- Developing and delivering client communication.
- Build strategies for clients and lead tactical planning and execution.
- Effectively manage & grow client relationships and establish trust and credibility.
- Strive to be the best interaction of the client’s day.
Team leadership and employee development:
- Manage work independently with initial direction from manager.
- Regularly speak up, ask questions, and express your POV.
- Train and support new Ovative team members.
- Foster a culture of open communication and 360-degree feedback.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Deep understanding of the Affiliate & Influencer ecosystem - social media channels, influencers, content, and creators and how they integrate into a broader marketing strategy.
- 2-5 years in an Affiliate & Influencer Marketing role developing and executing strategy and campaigns.
- Expertise and success sourcing, recruiting, onboarding, and negotiating with Influencers.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing affiliate & influencer campaigns.
- Proficient in common Affiliate and Influencer tracking platforms, such as Impact, LTK, ShopMy, etc.; bonus if experienced in influencer sourcing platforms such as Tagger, Captiv8, etc.
- Measurement-minded with a strong understanding of the performance metrics widely used and available data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and experience in tracking relevant metrics.
- Document, analyze, and provide meaningful insights on campaign performance across affiliate & influencer.
- Have a pulse on influencer trends and partnership opportunities, continuously monitoring cultural conversations, social platform evolutions, and competitor activities to stay aligned with the evolving landscape.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills and client management skills.
Preferred:
- Digital agency experience or digital lead on the client-side.
- Web analytics experience.
- Experience with influencer sourcing and campaign platforms.
- Previous experience in performance marketing, retail, eCommerce, etc.
- Experience identifying, communicating, and implementing publisher-level strategies.
- Experience working directly in affiliate networks (i.e., Rakuten, CJ, Impact, etc.).
- Early adopter to new social media platforms and influencer marketing trends.
- Have a basic understanding of influencer pricing, engagement, and industry benchmarks.
Pay Transparency:
At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. Additional benefits information is provided below.
For our Sr. Analyst positions, our compensation ranges from $62,000 to $93,000, which is inclusive of a 15% bonus.
