$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

We are looking for a hands-on, creative Social Media Content Creator & Manager to bring PIER59 Studios’ digital presence to life. This role is focused on content creation, execution, and day-to-day social media management, ensuring our platforms stay dynamic, engaging, and visually compelling. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position will work closely with the in-house graphic designer to produce standout content that captures the essence of PIER59 Studios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos for daily social media posts, reels, and stories across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Post Scheduling & Execution: Manage the content calendar and ensure consistent posting with a strong visual and narrative flow.
• Engagement & Community Management: Respond to comments, DMs, and engage with followers to foster community growth.
• On-Site Content Capture: Attend events, productions, and behind-the-scenes moments to document and share real-time content.
• Basic Editing & Graphics: Use tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or Figma to refine visuals and create social-friendly assets.
• Trend Awareness & Implementation: Stay up to date with social media trends and apply fresh, engaging approaches to content.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor post performance and engagement metrics, making data-informed content adjustments.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in social media content creation and management for brands or creative industries.
• Strong eye for visual storytelling, composition, and aesthetics.
• Hands-on experience with mobile photography and videography (iPhone or similar).
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
• Basic knowledge of photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, VSCO, CapCut).
• Excellent written communication skills with a strong sense of brand voice.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment and adapt quickly to content needs.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with TikTok-style video editing and storytelling.
• Familiarity with influencer collaborations and brand partnerships.
• Basic knowledge of paid social campaigns.
