A&R Representative (Recorded Music)- MNRK (New York) Job at MNRK Music Group in

MNRK Music Group is seeking an A&R Representative(Recorded Music) to join our team in New York. In this position you will contribute to MNRK’s efforts in the development of our recorded music roster (all genres). The A&R Representative will be responsible for the administration needs of the A&R department and is expected to contribute to the growth and development of the MNRK roster of recorded music artists.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Leading the efforts in clearing samples, acquiring feature artist paperwork and other A&R admin essentials.
• Assisting A&R Leads with prospective new recorded artist research.
• Acting as an internal advocate for the MNRK artist roster, liaising with the sales and marketing teams every day.
• Contributing to the development of creative assets, including music videos, promotional materials, and digital content.
• Analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities in the recorded music industry to identify opportunities for growth.
• Building and maintaining relationships with partners, influencers, and record industry stakeholders to amplify the record label's presence.
• Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to assess the market for potential new artists for the MNRK recorded music roster.
• Staying informed about emerging marketing trends, technologies, and best practices in the record industry.

What Makes You Qualified:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of artist relations experience in the music industry or entertainment sector.
• Proven track record of excellent organizational skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Deep understanding of music production, sample clearances, studio culture, and other relevant A&R channels.
• Passion for music, creativity, and innovation, with a keen awareness of industry trends and developments.

This is a hybrid role that will require you to commute to our New York City office a minimum of three days a week.
