Avanti Restaurant Solutions, a successful, privately held, $75M company, is looking for a Foodservice Design Manager. Responsible for working within a collaborative team, a Foodservice Design Manager’s duties and responsibilities are intended to support the design efforts of the in-house design build department on a wide variety of projects.

- Effectively translate client intentions and expectations into working kitchen designs
- 4+ years of food service design experience
- Knowledge of all aspects of the kitchen with attention to operational flow, field constructability, equipment specification, plumbing and electrical construction, health codes, etc.
- Knowledge of all components of kitchen design including kitchen equipment, custom fabrication, exhaust ventilation systems, refrigeration, beverage distribution systems, etc.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to collaborate with both internal team and external customers in a highly professional manner
- Organized and detailed oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced growing department
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Act as Project Lead for all Chain Department projects
- Effective coordination of specific chain design and specification requirements with Account Managers, ensuring project consistency, completeness, and accuracy.
- Coordinate effectively with project architects and engineers
- Manage a small design/production team focusing on Chain projects
- Delegate and manage project workflow.
- Manage deadlines and job schedules successfully
- Provide project estimates in written format.
- Monitor project costs.
- Preparation of and final review of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Create and maintain customer relationships
- Grow industry knowledge through periodic factory training
The is a full-time, exempt position. Compensation: $85,000 - $130,000
