As a Marketing Director at CTI, you will join a team that leverages the Company’s proprietary tax software to provide an accurate and efficient tax study with superior quality which maximizes business boosting benefits. Our roster of clients includes companies of all industries and sizes such as engineering, manufacturing, software, architecture, restaurants, wineries, and breweries.

As a Marketing Director, you will spearhead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans. We seek an individual who has experience with cutting-edge marketing techniques and a proven track record of driving brand success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s marketing efforts. This individual will manage the development and execution of marketing strategies, foster client retention, provide sales support and work closely with other departments to ensure cohesive and impactful brand messaging. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of digital marketing, data analytics, and creative campaign development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with the firm's objectives, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand message to further strengthen market competitiveness and brand growth.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, foster collaboration, and creativity to achieve marketing and branding objectives.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities, client needs, and competitive trends, and analyze the efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies, providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging across all channels including digital, print, social media and events.
- Direct online marketing efforts, including website management, social media engagement, and online advertising, to reach and engage target audiences and establish positive public relations.
- Oversee the creation, execution and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Coordinate and execute firm events, sponsorships, and community outreach programs to strengthen the firm's market presence.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop client-focused marketing initiatives, enhancing client retention and loyalty.
- Ensure the continuous development of new content and refresh current content including one pagers, power points, blog posts, and website content.
- Update leadership regarding the progress of marketing activities and provide data backed performance metrics to report on results of campaigns and marketing efforts.
- Ensure all marketing materials are stored and organized for easy access by CTI personnel.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, working effectively with minimal supervision, whether onsite, in a hybrid setting or fully remote.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service, including patience, a friendly attitude, empathy towards internal/external stakeholders, and with the appropriate sense of urgency.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical skills and reasoning abilities.
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to evolve and meet changing organizational needs.
- Capable of handling sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion.
- Ability to recognize when an incident needs to be escalated.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to CTI’s study process, quality control requirements, and management expectations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business preferred, but not required.
- 3+ years’ experience in CPA, Finance or Legal industry preferred.
- 3+ years’ experience marketing professional services required.
- 7+ years’ experience in a successful strategic marketing and branding leadership role.
- Be able to provide samples of past works.
- 2+ years’ in a leadership role required.
- Experience with content design tools is a plus.
- Ex: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Experience with Marketing Management tools is a plus.
- Ex. HubSpot, Pardot, MailChimp, Hootsuite, etc.
