A leading utilities company in the Northwest area of Houston is seeking a Marketing Assistant to add to their team. This is an excellent opportunity that comes with competitive compensation and benefits, and a great work culture. Starting compensation is $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience. This role is onsite every day.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years' of marketing experience
- Strong proficiency in Social Media platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace
- Proficiency with graphic design tools (i.e. Canva, Adobe Suite and Constant Contact)
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Manage social media platforms, including creating and scheduling content for LinkedIn.
- Oversee updates and maintenance for the company website and intranet
- Support event coordination for employee and client events, including registrations, logistics, and marketing.
- Assist with the design and creation of brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, maintaining databases and other tasks.
- Help create presentations, graphics, and other materials to support internal and external marketing efforts.
- Other duties as assigned
