Job Summary:
Collaborates with the Director of Marketing to elevate the Colliers| Columbus brand, ensuring seamless processes that deliver exceptional customer service and align with the company’s vision. This "player-coach" role provides direct support to brokerage team members and marketing specialists while leading marketing efforts to support business development and drive growth. Additionally, the role is instrumental in training team members and implementing procedures to enhance efficiency and achieve elite levels of customer service.
Essential Job Duties:
Brand Strategy & Team Management
· Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team, fostering professional growth and talent development.
· Oversee performance evaluations, training, and professional coaching to support team development
· Recruit and hire new marketing team members.
· Develop and distribute thought leadership content and sales materials, while collaborating on content delivery across digital channels and tailoring messaging to specific audiences.
· Oversee the implementation of each team’s marketing plans, providing strategic guidance, feedback and final approval when needed.
· Ensure all marketing materials align with company branding standards and maintain consistency across all platforms.
· Share best practices, key insights, and competitive intelligence to empower and guide the team.
· Develop a strong understanding of the business to inform and drive marketing strategies and engagement.
Business Development:
· Develop and execute marketing initiatives that align with business growth objectives.
· Oversee the planning, development, and execution of marketing projects (pitches, proposals, reports, brochures, and marketing plans).
· Collaborate with brokers, leadership, and the marketing team to create client focused strategies and messaging for different audiences.
· Partner with brokerage teams to create customized marketing strategies tailored to specific business goals.
· Develop and execute marketing plans for large-scale projects, such as new developments and high-profile listings.
· Conduct competitive analysis and consumer trend research, providing insights to inform business development strategies.
· Organize and promote broker events and attend industry networking opportunities.
Data Analysis & Operations:
· Develop proficiency in commission calculation process and other operational workflows to provide strategic support and optimize efficiency.
· Identify and evaluate new marketing software, tools, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Gather and analyze market, business, and marketing analytics data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
· Work with the research team to translate insights into compelling reports and presentations.
· Identify automation and process efficiency opportunities, recommending and implementing improvements.
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track business performance.
Other Responsibilities:
· Oversee cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution of key business initiatives.
· Support project management for selected high-priority initiatives.
· Other duties as assigned to support the profitable and successful operation of the company.
Skills, Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or a related field, including 2–3 years of experience in team management.
· Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva for marketing and presentation purposes.
· Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
· Knowledge of commercial real estate and an understanding of industry standards is a plus.
· A Real Estate License or the willingness to obtain.
· Ohio Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain.
· Familiarity with Smartsheet is preferred.
· Experience in B2B environments or working with sales professionals is preferred.
· Knowledge and experience of working in various CRM software is preferred.
· Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.
· Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly competitive, and deadline-driven environment.
· Familiarity with SEO, content marketing strategies, and analytics tools is a plus.
