About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Public Relations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for working closely with the PR team to help develop and execute PR strategies that enhance our clients' reputations and visibility, primarily in the legal, financial, government, and education sectors. You’ll also cross collaborate with our content, social media, and marketing teams to craft compelling narratives, build media relationships, and drive impactful PR campaigns.
Assist in researching, ideating, and creating strategic PR campaigns to drive brand awareness and thought leadership positioning for clients.
Be responsible for driving the execution of the established PR campaign and strategies.
Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers.
Monitor media coverage, create coverage books, and provide insights on PR performance.
Assist in crisis communication planning and execution when needed.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand messaging is consistent across all platforms.
Research industry trends to identify PR opportunities and thought leadership topics.
1-2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
~ Proven success in securing media coverage and managing PR campaigns.
~ Strong writing and storytelling skills, with experience in press releases, media pitches, and op-eds.
~ Excellent relationship-building skills with journalists, editors, and media professionals.
~ Experience working with clients in the government, financial, or education sectors is a plus.
~ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
~ Ability to connect the dots, bridging client narratives with current events and industry news to plug our clients into the wider conversation.
~ Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.
~
