POSITION SUMMARY
The Truck and Automotive Service Writer supports the Truck and Auto team by overseeing service schedules and orders, updating customer accounts, and handling payment processes. They ensure customer needs are met and help create a smooth and positive experience for each customer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Interact professionally with customers in person, by phone, and via email to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. Ensure service appointments are scheduled correctly, factoring in both customer needs and available service times. Track service orders and progress, ensuring timely updates and completion. Maintain organized and accurate records for inventory, services, and customer accounts. Address customer inquiries quickly, providing clear information and resolving concerns efficiently. Oversee the full-service process, including appointment scheduling, order taking, monitoring progress, calculating charges, and processing payments. Managing all aspects of financial record keeping and ensuring accuracy in financial statements, including maintaining assembly sheets, daily reports, account transfers and billing. Serve as a liaison between customers and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and service flow Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program and DOT regulations. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Must be 18 years or older. English proficiency. Valid Driver's License. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts.
