The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall strategy, leadership, business development, and execution of sales initiatives. This role involves establishing long-range planning, setting and achieving sales goals, and leading the business unit sales organization. The Vice President will also be tasked with developing and optimizing sales strategies, managing customer relations, and ensuring the strategic objectives are aligned with the company's overall sales strategy. A key aspect of the position is to lead the team in the evaluation and optimization of trade spending budgets and strategy, as well as to proactively strategize competitive actions and respond to customer-specific competitive strategies. Applicants for the Vice President of Customer Marketing position at the company should have a BA/BS degree in a related field, with an MBA or other advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years' professional experience in the CPG industry, including at least 5 years in customer marketing, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management, P&L management, and a strong understanding of sales and customer marketing KPIs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
