Summary

The Communications Associate collaborates with the Communications and Marketing teams to develop engaging content for NAES Corporation and its subsidiaries through a range of content types. Brainstorm creative concepts surrounding the energy and industrial service industries, assisting with content production, and learning to execute communications strategies across various digital platforms.

Primary Duties

Content Production:

Work with the Communications and Marketing teams to create engaging content surrounding NAES Corporation and its subsidiaries for internal and external audiences. Content includes (but is not limited to): blog posts, newsletter content, training data, website, and social media content. Multimedia Support:

Work with Communications Lead and Marketing team to develop text, audio, and video-based content, ensuring cohesive NAES brand messaging and NAES brand consistency. Content Ideation:

Contribute new and creative ideas during content planning meetings, staying informed of current design and visual trends to keep content fresh. Project Organization:

Assist in maintaining organized libraries of media assets, including photos, graphics, logos, and past campaign materials, ensuring easy access for cross-functional teams. Brand Consistency:

Uphold brand guidelines to maintain a consistent look and feel across all channels and content formats. Working Relationships

As part of the NAES Corporate HR team, this position reports to the Communications Lead and works closely with Marketing and business leaders.

Compensation

Initial starting compensation will range from $70,700 to $81,000

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience. Two years of relevant work experience. Experience within the energy/renewable services industry. (preferred)

Specific Skills and Knowledge

As Communications Associate, you will need to have a broad range of skills, including the ability to utilize communication tools and software, video equipment and tools, assist with multiple projects at the same time and learn to prioritize content creation.

The Communications Associate should have a basic to intermediate understanding of video production, including software like Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent design/visual editing tools. This person should have a genuine passion for storytelling and visual content creation, a basic understanding of content marketing principles-how content can drive engagement, awareness, and conversions. They should also have an eagerness to learn new tools, techniques, and platforms to enhance the production of multimedia content.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

This role requires sitting at a desk, using a computer workstation, standing, walking, and use of hands and fingers. Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.PT Monday through Friday with extended hours as necessary.

Fit for Duty
