As a member of the IT Management Team, you are responsible for managing, developing, and leading a team of employees. Your role includes leading the specific functional responsibilities of your team, which involves overseeing team performance and deliverables. However, your role as a leader within our organization requires more than the management of resources and day-to-day operations. As a steward of the company, you are charged with the development and execution of your team's strategic vision and plan and ensuring that your team's actions align with the larger goals of the company and the IT Division.
The Manager of the Digital Analytics team develops analytics tagging strategy, builds A/B tests of new digital features, and creates custom algorithms for product recommendations and personalization for Costco's digital systems with a mobile first mindset. The Digital analytics manager supports Adobe Experience Cloud tools, such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Tag Manager and leads the team in working closely with product owners, analysts, developer leads, and business partners to understand requirements and collaborate on designing and implementing personalization activities to support our business.

• Build a team of QA, release analysts, engineers who are hyper focused on improving the digital analytics and SEO capabilities for Costco`s digital properties including the mobile app and provide tools, checklists and automation required for empowering developers, data analysts, engineering and architecture teams to track and optimize customer journeys.
• Own digital analytics goals of all the products and platform services that are required for the success of costco mobile app.
• Collaborate proactively with multiple distributed value streams, vendors, service providers and ensure product artifacts( stories, epics, features, acceptance criteria, etc.) that are pertinent for the mission and strategic objectives are completed as planned.
• Takes ownership of business intelligence front-end development by providing self-service dashboard solutions to your stakeholders.
• Supports stakeholders in the use of digital analytics tools to select appropriate KPIs, define targets and ambitions, monitor performance, and derive trends and growth opportunities.
• Builds a strong internal and external network, connecting business teams with analytics and tech teams to create strong relationships.
• Investigates business problems and hypotheses and raises awareness of challenges and opportunities identified through analysis.
• Spends a significant amount of time mentoring others and providing cross-team input.
• Understands the mobile application/domain end to end, takes ownership of a group of applications from a QA perspective, and develops a Test automation script.
• Drives the team to ensure on-time delivery, and quality improvement KPIs.
• Communicate effectively to different stakeholders on the project progress at different timelines (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly etc.,).
• Collaborates with customers, other managers, and team leads to resolve any team blockers and bring up best practices and solutions.

• Co-initiate and implement new reporting capabilities with a focus on product and consumer insights based on advanced descriptive methodologies.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications Required:
• Extensive experience in building and managing digital analytics teams and demonstrated experience in delivering significant business results.
• Hands-on experience, deep understanding, and proficiency in managing Adobe suite of products focused on customer journey analytics, web and mobile analytics, SEO, and other business impacting capabilities specifically for digital properties.
• Prior experience integrating 3rd party API's and interfaces.
• Adept in analyzing the impact of UX design, designing A/B testing, etc.
• Expertise in designing testable software (Unit/Functional/End-to-End) and building large scale, complex applications.
• Self-motivated/learning mindset with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about working with business stakeholders in managing expectations and delivering to the commitments.
• User-centric focused and embrace Agile practice.
• Strong software engineering management experience preferred.
• HIPAA Training and Supervisors Orientation (within 30 days of hire); Leadership Development 101 (within one year); Costco Pay Policies (within 90 days of promotion). Recommended:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• A portfolio of Apps or SDKs already built and in the App Store or Google Play.
