Job Summary:
Lockton’s Kansas City Benefit Agency is looking for a motivated Account Administrator to work in a fast-paced environment. The person in this position will be the primary service contact for an assigned book of business and develop a strong working relationship with both the clients and carriers.
DUTIES:
Responsible for servicing assigned book of business, which includes the development and execution of service schedule, program reporting (if relevant), and coordinating initiatives with the client and business partners. Develops client stewardship/strategic planning reports. Assembles and analyzes monthly/quarterly client reporting. Looks for trends in the data and highlights problems, anomalies and solutions to the client and team members. Meets with clients (face-to-face) in conjunction with Account Manager or Account Executive according to standardized client meeting schedules. Participates in marketing efforts as assigned by team. Reviews agreements and/or documents such as employee communication materials (printed and/or digital), carrier contracts, etc. Creates employee communication pieces to facilitate a better understanding of benefits Responsible for educating new benefit offerings and communication strategies to existing clients. Develops prospective client proposals. Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience Demonstrated professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) or similar software applications. Demonstrated presentation skills including preparation and execution. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to develop sound relationships with multiple clients. Ability to understand data integrity and correctness. Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively present information to Associates at all levels of the Lockton organization. Strong proactive style. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to interact with business partners effectively. Thrives in collaborative team environment while executing independently Some travel required
