About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Project Manager to serve as the Project Puzzle Master for a multi-brand creative team operating across three overlapping seasonal calendars. This role ensures all creative projects stay on track despite delays, shifting priorities, and last-minute adjustments. You will work cross-functionally with design, marketing, content, and production teams to maintain seamless workflows and deliver assets on time.

This role requires a highly organized and proactive problem-solver who excels at managing competing priorities, keeping workflows efficient, and ensuring the creative team operates at peak performance. While you will have the autonomy to make day-to-day workflow adjustments, significant project scope or timeline changes should be escalated for leadership approval. You will also own key KPIs related to on-time creative delivery, workflow efficiency, DAM (Digital Asset Management) system organization, and expense tracking.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where creative and business needs are constantly evolving. This is a mid-level, hands-on role—perfect for someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, aligning teams, and ensuring creative work gets delivered efficiently.

What You’ll Do

Creative Project Coordination & Workflow Management

• Oversee creative production schedules across three brands and seasonal calendars, ensuring deadlines are met despite shifting priorities.

• Track progress, adjust workflows proactively, and resolve bottlenecks to keep projects moving efficiently.

• Manage ad hoc requests, balancing urgent needs with ongoing priorities to maintain workflow efficiency.

• Coordinate internal and external resources (agencies, freelancers) and track creative production expenses to optimize budgets.

Digital Asset Management (DAM) Oversight

• Manage the DAM system, ensuring assets are properly organized, tagged, and accessible to internal teams and retail partners.

• Implement naming conventions and version control to streamline asset retrieval and maintain consistency.

• Train teams on DAM best practices, ensuring compliance and reducing inefficiencies in asset usage.

Strategic Prioritization & Communication

• Act as the bridge between creative, marketing, and leadership teams, ensuring clear alignment on priorities.

• Deliver succinct updates to leadership, flagging critical issues while keeping escalations minimal.

• Balance workloads across the creative team, identifying when additional resources are needed.

• Adapt to strategic shifts while keeping the team focused on high-priority work and long-term goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Retailer Support

• Work closely with the Creative Director, Design Manager, Graphic Designer, Visual Design Specialist, Photo/Video Production Manager, Photographer, and SEO & Content Specialist to ensure projects align with brand, content, and visual strategies.

• Partner with Retail, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to ensure creative assets meet retailer and marketplace requirements, maintaining consistency across channels.

• Ensure the creative team operates efficiently within the company’s evolving strategy, balancing structure with adaptability to shifting priorities.

What You Bring

• Project & Workflow Management: 3+ years of experience in creative project management, creative operations, or digital asset management (or equivalent). Proven ability to manage multiple brands, overlapping seasons, and shifting priorities simultaneously.

• Process Optimization & Organization: Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with experience in workflow tools like ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, and Excel to streamline creative processes.

• Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent communicator—proactive, succinct, and able to distill complex project updates into clear, actionable information for stakeholders and leadership.

• DAM & Asset Management: Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, including asset tagging, metadata structures, and version control to ensure seamless asset organization and retrieval.

• Budget & Retail Collaboration: Experience tracking creative budgets and expenses to optimize resources, with a plus for experience working with retailers, marketplaces, or e-commerce platforms and understanding their creative asset needs.

• Tech & AI Adaptability: Plus for familiarity with AI tools for content organization, asset tagging, or workflow automation.

Why Join Us?

• Be the key driver of efficiency for a high-performing creative team.

• Own and improve the Digital Asset Management system, ensuring assets are easily accessible and well-organized.

• Work in a dynamic, high-impact role, ensuring creative work moves smoothly and meets strategic needs.

• Help scale creative production across multiple brands and retailers while improving operational efficiency.
