Title: Cyber Communications Project and Delivery Support Contractor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Communications Project Support Contractor to join our Global Cybersecurity team. This role will support the Senior Project Manager and Cybersecurity Manager in planning, developing, and delivering communications for executive leadership and employee audiences. The contractor will assist in high-impact cybersecurity technology changes, awareness, and education communications across the enterprise and the 5K Technology organization. The role requires strong content development, writing, creativity, and critical thinking skills, with preference for candidates with experience in Financial Services or Insurance within technology or cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications Support

Assist in the creation, planning, and execution of communications for executive leadership and internal stakeholders.

Content Creation

Draft, edit, and manage a variety of communications, including:

Emails, presentations, and executive summaries related to cybersecurity policy, technology changes, and business impacts.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, IT partners, and stakeholders to ensure clear and effective messaging for complex cybersecurity initiatives.

Project Management

Organize, track, and manage multiple communications projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical & Professional Skills

Project Management: Experience with project management tools and techniques, ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Writing & Editing: Exceptional ability to write, edit, and simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences. Cybersecurity Awareness: Basic familiarity with cybersecurity concepts (preferred but not required). Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely. Technology Proficiency:

Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Microsoft Project expertise strongly preferred. Experience with Teams Planner is a plus.

Communications Planning: Experience in creating and executing communication strategies in large, complex organizations.

Soft Skills

Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Adaptability: Ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Critical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess communications needs and determine the most effective messaging strategies. Detail-Oriented: Commitment to high-quality deliverables with strong attention to detail. Initiative: Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement, standardization, and efficiency.

Experience & Education

3+ years of experience in internal communications, change communications, project management, or related roles. Experience in change management is required. Experience in IT or cybersecurity organizations is a plus but not required.
