Job Title: Prior Authorization Specialist

Job Overview:
We are hiring for a Prior Authorization Specialist. This is a fully remote opportunity for somebody with Radiology or Surgery Prior Authorization Experience.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Responsible for several patient financial account services, including patient benefit assessment, insurance verification, pre-certification, pre-authorizations, pre-determination for services, and referrals management. Coordinate all aspects of surgery scheduling. Schedule all appointments for patients requiring surgery and revise/cancel appointments, as needed. Act as an interdepartmental liaison and maintain familiarity with scheduling functions. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the company's mission, values, and service standards. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Surgery or Radiology Experience 3 + years of direct prior authorization experience Familiarity with most commercial insurances Well-versed in Medical Terminology Schedule/ Shift: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM CST
Pay: $15-18/hr
