Sr. Product Designer, Fraud [Contract] Consumer Fraud
About the Team The Customer Experience & Integrity (CXI) Design team, made up of Support, Fraud, Trust & Safety, and Internal Tools teams, is responsible for turning the most critical customer pain points into delightful experiences. We're here to make consumers, merchants, and dashers feel like DoorDash is with them every step of the way in their journeys. And we do that with design thinking, creativity, and innovation. We strive to bring the heart and soul of DoorDash to fill the gaps in the overall user experience with delightful, unique, and memorable interactions. As part of the Fraud team, you will primarily focus on the consumer-facing fraud user experience.
About the Role As a Sr. Product Designer for Fraud, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our platform from fraudulent users while ensuring a seamless experience for our legitimate users You'll need to go wide and deep into the overall user journeys and develop innovative strategies and features to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, while minimizing false positives and false negatives You'll create solutions that drive both user satisfaction as well as business metrics You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (research, product, engineering, analytics, and business) to help drive the vision and strategy You'll have the opportunity to make a real impact and be at the forefront of helping make DoorDash's customer experience the differentiator in why people choose to stay with us We're excited about you because...
You have 5+ years of experience as a product designer or user experience designer You're a pioneer. You're not afraid to be the founding designer in this space and explore and tackle new challenges You have a respect for your craft. You understand that your work ultimately contributes to the top line and bottom line of the business
