Part time positions start at a minimum of 30 hours per week.We encourage you to become a part of VyStar Credit Union's family of employees.Marketing SpecialistACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT The Marketing Specialist will coordinate and manage email marketing initiatives and execute assigned product marketing activities with the goal of acquiring new members and deepening relationships with existing members. Using integrated marketing automation and analytics tools, they are responsible for managing and tracking marketing campaigns that successfully promote VyStar products/services for assigned lines of business across the markets we serve.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Email MarketingWork with internal departments to create email campaigns including workflows and automation. Maintain on-going schedules for each email campaign and/or communication approved for email delivery.Measure and report email campaign results. Recommend adjustments to campaign automation and workflows to increase effectiveness and intended results.Work to decrease non-deliverable and unsubscribe emails. Ensure accurate and current lists of opt-outs/unsubscribes are maintained.Work with Compliance Department ensuring requirements, such as CAN-SPAM Act, are adhered to for every campaign.Product MarketingPartner with assigned business units to understand goals and create a quarterly calendar to execute campaigns that support their production goals.Collaborate with business units to launch complete campaigns from development, execution, and through to post-campaign reportingIn partnership with AVP, Marketing Insights & Analytics Manager, develop target audiences and campaign tracking metricsWork with internal and external partners to develop campaign creative briefsEnsure all campaign creative follows the compliance approval processPartner with digital agencies to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategy for assigned lines of businessSupport new product and service launches as neededPartner with the digital and marketing teams to update assigned product marketing content on the public website. Ensuring product pages are accurate and optimized.Marketing AutomationServe as a user of marketing automation platformServe as user of MCIF systemUse marketing automation tools to personalize communications to members and prospectsCollaborate with Email Marketing Manager to coordinate email communications for assigned lines of business (including pulling lists and establishing tracking)Digital ContentManage product content pages on the website for assigned lines of business (working with business units to ensure content is accurate)Collaborate with VP, Product Marketing to update promotions for assigned lines of business on the websiteManage content calendar for marketing banner ads within online and mobile bankingPartner with VP, Regional Marketing to manage content calendar for external and interior digital branch signageWork with VP, Product Marketing to update frontline communications relating to campaigns for assigned lines of businessMarketing Team Support Serve on internal project teams, support functional areas within the marketing department, and assist lines of business with new initiatives as needed.EDUCATIONBachelor's degree is required (or equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience).EXPERIENCE4+ years marketing, sales or financial services experience inclusive of 2+ years working in marketing.2+ years product marketing or sales experience preferredEmail and digital marketing experience preferredJOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in presentations in a business settingExperience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform is preferredAdvanced computer skills and an above average knowledge of the latest Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Professional suiteResults oriented with strong strategic, analytical and interpersonal skills.High level of initiative and ability to work independently.Ability to manage multiple projects, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.Strong team orientation and ability to work with people from all business areas and levels.Ability to work with varying levels of internal constituents and develop communication for various internal levels.VyStar Credit Union is not seeking outside assistance or accepting unsolicited resumes from staffing agencies or search firms for employment or contractor opportunities.
