Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven eCommerce Marketing Lead to join our team and play a critical role in driving the company’s growth. This is a new and high-impact position, responsible for increasing qualified leads, optimizing conversion, and maximizing retention. The ideal candidate will bring strategic vision, analytical rigor, and hands-on expertise in managing a diverse set of marketing channels while fostering a high-performing team.
We are looking for an "A Player" who has successfully led marketing efforts to grow a seven-figure company to an eight-figure company.

  Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA)
    • Define expectations and motivate the team to align with company values, vision, and goals.
    • Translate vision and goals into actionable marketing priorities, creating efficient systems and coaching team members for peak performance.
    • Ensure clarity around roles, track progress, address challenges, and hold team members accountable.
    • Success Measure: Develop a marketing plan with weekly targets and quarterly milestones to achieve company revenue goals. Build and maintain a team of "A Players."
  2. Lead Generation
    • Create and execute strategies to attract potential customers through marketing channels including (but not limited to) SEO, content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, and digital advertising.
    • Drive qualified traffic to the eCommerce store, ensuring cost-effective acquisition.
    • Success Measure: Increase qualified leads by 30%+, leveraging newly merchandised products to achieve goals.
  3. Conversion Optimization
    • Optimize marketing strategies, user experience, and website performance to convert website visitors into desired outcomes, such as purchases or email signups.
    • Design and implement a conversion funnel with targeted calls to action at each stage.
    • Success Measure: Increase cart conversion rate by 1%+.
  4. Customer Retention
    • Develop and execute strategies to encourage repeat purchases and build loyalty through personalized marketing and exceptional service.
    • Enhance customer lifetime value by fostering long-term relationships.
    • Success Measure: Increase returning customer rate by 6%+.
  5. Customer Insights & Analytics
    • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to understand customer behavior, preferences, and purchase patterns.
    • Analyze metrics to inform marketing strategies and improve customer experiences.
    • Success Measure: Maintain customer groups and regularly report on key metrics, including customer group percentages by marketing channel performance, acquisition costs, and customer lifetime value.

This role will require navigating a rapidly evolving eCommerce space, which includes:
  • Increasing competition and market consolidation.
  • Rising advertising costs.
  • Advancing customer expectations for personalized and efficient experiences.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on eCommerce.
  • Proven track record in customer acquisition, lead generation, and retention strategies.
  • Strong expertise in content marketing, PPC, and email marketing.
  • Experience with SEO, CRO, retargeting campaigns, and social media.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets and achieve measurable ROI.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in marketing tools (Google Analytics, CRM platforms, etc.).
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with industrial supply or automobile industries.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce selling to businesses.
