About the Team

Our Advertising & Promotions team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core audiences. We provide digital solutions to help advertisers reach DoorDash audiences.

This role will be responsible for business performance planning and tracking cost budgeting, data management, and cross-functional project ownership across all business units under the Ads & Promotions business unit. In this role, you’ll be a trusted source of truth and advocate for Ads & Promotions across the whole DoorDash organization.

About the Role

This role is an analytical and operations-focused position that will support the growth and efficiency of our Ads & Promotions business through data management, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. Specifically, this person will:

  • Manage key financial and operational data: Ensure accuracy in budget tracking, reconcile actuals with Finance and Marketing, and maintain key reporting processes to support business planning.
  • Own business performance reporting: Pull and analyze data for recurring business reviews with senior leadership, create and maintain dashboards, and automate and improve data processes to enhance visibility into key metrics.
  • Support planning and forecasting: Support quarterly and annual planning by gathering inputs from cross-functional teams, building models, and aligning on goals with Finance and Sales teams.
  • Drive ad hoc cross-functional workstreams: Serve as the Ads & Promotions representative in broader initiatives while leading and executing your own projects.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build: You have experience with large complex data sets, and you enjoy leveraging data to build insights, forecast performance, and identify trends.
  • Truth Seek: You want to get to the lowest level of detail, and understand what is driving metrics and performance.
  • Collaborate: You value cross-functional partnerships, and will thrive at working across Finance, Operations, Sales, and others to build goals and deliver results.
  • Manage Time Effectively: You thrive in a fast-paced environment, expertly managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining high-quality results and attention to detail.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 2+ years of experience in a role in revenue operations, strategic finance, business planning, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • You’re a data-driven problem solver who is fluent in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL; you’re eager to dive into difficult problems without a playbook, analyze data, and devise an action plan.
  • You are detail oriented – you don’t shy away from getting into the lowest level of detail, implementing processes, and driving towards a desired solution.
  • You have a proven track record of working cross-functionally and succeeding in a complex and fast-moving environment.
  • You thrive while wearing multiple hats and working across a variety of projects and workstreams.
