This position is involved in developing and executing market strategies to support products and drive member/patient growth within Optum Indiana and Ohio Medicare Advantage patient population. This position develops strategies and tactical plans to identify patients for selection/conversion and then lead the execution of those plans. This position will develop meaningful relationships with broker and insurance partners to grow outreach. May analyze economic and market considerations, develop and present budgets for materials, events and staffing needs. Plans events, partnerships and budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain an event calendar for broker/agents

Maintain growth and partnership budget as well as relationships in community

Attend outreach events, expos, agency meetings, rollouts etc. representing Optum Indiana and Ohio

Schedule and coordinate outreach events for providers

Maintain marketing outreach materials. Coordinate with marketing colleagues to develop and distribute effective messaging within brand standards

Own broker strategy and education, including hosting and management of broker events on a regular basis

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with payor growth leads in the market

Coordinates with clinical and cross-departmental teams on development of growth materials to support campaigns and critical enrollment periods, e.g. AEP, SEP, OEP

Ability to execute and work at the campaign level, willing and able to oversee and also do the work required to see campaigns through from start to finish

Local market product subject matter expert - payors/carriers plans. Serves as the "hub" for information on plan benefits, costs and deductibles

5+ years of experience in healthcare insurance, ideally with Medicare/Medicare Advantage

Direct or indirect experience of Medicare broker/agent community

Familiarity with Field Marketing Organizations (FMOs,' payors, plan evolution, and sales process

Direct experience with CMS, requirements and restrictions, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced sales communications skills - having sold or led a sales team in the past, familiarity with sales and lead generation process

Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and ability to adapt to additional systems to develop campaigns, present to peers and leadership, and track budget and metrics

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
