The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their fulltime Digital Content Coordinator position in the Office of Communications. The Digital Content Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s social media strategy, managing all social media channels, and creating content that aligns with our mission and strategic objectives. In addition, this role will include professional photography and videography responsibilities to capture and produce high-quality visuals for use across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with organizational goals
  2. Create, curate, and schedule posts across social platforms
  3. Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content that showcases TCSG’s/colleges programs, events, and success stories
  4. Monitor social media trends, respond to audience engagement, and adjust content strategies as needed
  5. Report on social media analytics to track growth and engagement
  6. Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree *and* one (1) year of work-related experience *OR* Associate’s degree *and* two (2) years of work related experience
  2. Must be able to provide a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in photography, videography, and social media content creation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in social media management, photography, and videography
  3. Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Meltwater)
  4. Advanced skills in photography and videography, including shooting, editing, and color correction
  5. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) or other professional photo/video editing software

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  1. Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and the ability to analyze and interpret data to optimize content
  2. Exceptional eye for visual composition, detail, and storytelling to produce engaging, brand-aligned content
  3. Ability to generate creative ideas that resonate with diverse audiences and promote engagement across digital platforms
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills to draft social media captions and other digital content as needed
  5. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  6. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and leadership
