Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Paid Media Director, working remotely anywhere in the United States.

The Paid Media Director will be responsible for managing Perficient's Paid Media team, serving as a trusted resource for prospective and existing clients, driving sales growth, and continuing to expand our digital advertising solution capabilities. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience building and leading Paid Media teams in an agency or consulting environment, a proven ability to successfully acquire new paid media clients, and the ability to act as a player coach on key client accounts.

As a Director at Perficient, you will play a crucial leadership role in our Digital Marketing team. You will collaborate with our sales team, industry partners, and other subject matter expert teams to drive results and financial performance. Additionally, you will foster an engaging colleague culture that inspires delivery excellence for our clients, and strong team and individual performance in line with Perficient's People Promise.

You will be instrumental in helping the team develop strategies, execute planning, and ensuring proper implementation of paid media marketing programs to meet and exceed client goals. You will be continuously working to identify innovative ways to deliver actionable insights via targeting and optimization strategies, automation solutions and measurement models while keeping in mind critical data privacy considerations.

You'll also be expected to pitch new engagements for clients across a variety of industries, showcasing our differentiation and ability to drive business outcomes through paid media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage, develop and mentor team of paid media consultants, fostering a high-performing team. Provide career development plans, regular reviews, coaching and real-time feedback on work and engagements. Champion best practices, continuous learning, and professional development to elevate team expertise and effectiveness.
  • Business Growth & Sales Enablement: Partner closely with sales and practice leaders to drive paid media growth through strategic collaboration. Identify new business opportunities, contribute to solution development, and support high-quality proposal creation for new accounts, renewals, and upsells. Serve as a trusted expert in sales conversations, aligning paid media solutions with client goals to drive long-term value.
  • Delivery Excellence: Ensure the successful execution of paid media engagements by establishing and enforcing best practices, processes, and quality standards. Oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and optimization of multi-channel media programs to maximize ROI and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate strong, strategic relationships with key client stakeholders to deeply understand their business objectives and challenges. Lead select client accounts and serve as an escalation point for complex or high-impact issues. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client performance and expand service engagements through innovative paid media strategies.
  • Strategic Vision & Thought Leadership: Provide strategic thought leadership to continue developing and expanding our paid media solutions by staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging innovations. Share insights with internal teams and contribute to thought leadership content.


Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in a wide array of paid media channels including paid search, display, shopping, social media, retail media networks, demand-side platforms (DSPs) and connected TV (CTV) advertising
  • Proven success building and leading high-performing teams that execute integrated paid media programs for mid-market to enterprise clients spanning B2B, B2C, ecommerce, retail, healthcare and/or other industries
  • Expertise in enterprise-grade campaign management platforms such as Adobe Advertising Cloud, Search Ads 360, or similar
  • Experience in paid search automation and scripting to drive internal efficiency and campaign optimization
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic measurement frameworks such as media mix modeling and multi-touch attribution to quantify marketing impact on sales and business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of agency operations and how to apply performance-driven tactics to ensure long-term client success and revenue growth
  • Strong business development and sales support experience including responding to RFPs/RFQs, developing proposals, communicating value propositions, and articulating business cases for C-Suite and marketing decision makers and executives
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and client relationship skills, with the ability to provide strategic guidance, contribute to industry discussions, and mentor teams effectively
  • Experience in recruiting, people management, and performance development, fostering a culture of growth and accountability
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or advertising preferred

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $103,584 to $209,800. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
