Job Description
Reports to: Director of Media Buying
Role: Works directly with media buying team to assist in the planning, negotiation, buying, management and reporting of offline media campaigns for an array of clients. Involved in team, vendor and partner coordination, along with participation in client meetings. Assist with the review and audit of client media spending and approval, ensuring campaigns adhere to budget and campaign parameters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Work with team to compile research to discuss/potentially incorporate into plans
· Bring new ideas and examples to conversation with account team, partners, clients
· Pull Rankers, pull SQAD
· Draft Avails Request, distribute w/approval
· Input avails
· Pull Kantar reports, formatting for internal/external presentation
· Input buying information into Planner's flowchart, maintaining
· Assist in the gathering of campaign performance analytics and creation of reports
· Oversee items needing Project Management focus, entry into PM system
· Upload buys to Strata and then E-port
· Generate IOs, distribute w/approval
· Input and maintain contracts for media vendors (outdoor, etc.)
· Update Program Grids and Budget Worksheet
· Gather Pre-logs from stations for assigned campaigns
· Analyze air-checks from TV/Radio station vendors
· Compile and maintain media buy Makegoods
· Generate Post-Buy reports
· Add items to spec sheet
· Send Traffic Instructions/changes, creative
· Reconcile media vendor invoices, work with Account Director to address issues
· Attend meetings (client, vendor, partner, team)
· Participate in continuous learning through webinars, vendor presentations, etc.
· Observe and learn media buying skills to evolve to role as Media Buyer
· Plus, any other request that benefits the client, account team or agency
