Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and digital advertising.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, blog posts, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and contribute to marketing strategy discussions.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of promotional events and initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Support day-to-day marketing operations, including administrative tasks and project coordination.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in marketing to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field with at least 60 credit hours completed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Marketing Software such as Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
  • Understanding of business social media practices and platforms with experience in content creation.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing techniques and an eagerness to learn.
  • Data entry skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Must be local to Columbus, OH for the duration of the internship, as this internship will be in-office at our corporate location.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to adhere to prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying promotional materials and event supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, often requiring extended hours during events or campaign launches.
  • Mobility to travel to various event locations and marketing meetings as needed.
  • Comfortable working with computer equipment and peripherals for extended periods, including keyboard, mouse, and monitor.
