We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Communication Specialist in Columbus, Ohio. The successful candidate will be tasked with the maintenance and management of social media accounts, website, and other internal and external communication platforms/procedures. The role primarily involves utilizing these platforms to enhance our brand presence, highlight job opportunities, and facilitate effective communication with our customers and team members.

Responsibilities:
• Drive brand awareness and engagement through the strategic use of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Design, implement, and oversee an annual marketing and communication plan and schedule.
• Coordinate and deploy a communication platform to our 250 employees.
• Assist sales staff with proposal preparation, client testimonials, past project profiles, white papers, etc.
• Regularly create and update social media posts to ensure active and consistent engagement.
• Develop and execute online customer and employee satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and insights.
• Take charge of updating, managing and maintaining our website to ensure it remains relevant and user-friendly.
• Prepare comprehensive project profiles and service flyers to serve as marketing materials.
• Coordinate and prepare a quarterly in-house newsletter for employees to foster internal communication.
• Implement best practices for blogging and advertisements to enhance overall brand awareness.
• Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role as a Communication Specialist
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva to create engaging content
• Experience in developing and managing Editorial Calendars
• Proficiency in using Facebook Insights for tracking and improving post-performance
• Proven experience in creating and managing social media advertisements
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data for strategic improvements
• Knowledge of current social media best practices
• Experience in blogging to increase brand visibility and engagement
• Proven ability to increase brand awareness through effective social media strategies
