Job Summary

The RFID Lab is seeking a student employee to provide graphic design support to the communications and outreach team.

The job requires a highly creative and detail-oriented individual who is committed to maintaining the integrity of the Auburn brand. This is a year-round student opportunity, offering a flexible schedule of up to 20 hours per week.





Essential Functions

  • Provide assistance with design projects for the RFID Lab and will be expected to contribute ideas and future project ideas.

  • Provide graphic design support for projects, events, newsletters, and website design.





Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrolled student at Auburn University in graphic design or similar field

  • Strong skills in Adobe CC InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

  • Strong visual communication skills



Expectations:


  • Interest in Communications and Marketing

  • Ability to collaborate and work with a team

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities independently and on deadline is required

  • Ability to work in an office setting at computer for several hours a day





Preferred Qualifications

Specialized interest in translating the methods, impacts, and wider applications of scientific research for a wide variety of public audiences to interest, engage, and garner support in the college's research, academic, development, and outreach programs.
