We're searching for a dynamic PR Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is critical in ensuring our clients' success, requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in public relations, client management, and media relations, with a preference for agency experience.
This is a hybrid, full-time position with a flexible schedule, requiring responsiveness within 48 hours and a proactive approach to client needs.
YOU ARE RIGHT FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU:
- Have 3-5+ years of PR agency experience supporting public and private brands.
- Are a strategic thinker who can develop and execute integrated PR campaigns.

ROLE OBJECTIVE
The PR Account Manager at NEAT is responsible for leading client accounts, overseeing PR campaigns, and ensuring that all deliverables meet or exceed expectations. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, media outreach, and client communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their goals and challenges.
- Provide strategic counsel, guiding clients on media opportunities, messaging, and overall PR approach.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and client expectations effectively.
Public Relations & Media Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Craft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content.
- Secure earned media placements in relevant publications, podcasts, and digital platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends to proactively identify media opportunities.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and oversee junior PR team members, providing guidance and professional development.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, content, and social media specialists.
- Contribute to new business development efforts, including proposals and pitches.
Strategy & Campaign Execution
- Lead the development of long-term PR plans and short-term campaign strategies.
- Monitor and report on PR performance, analyzing key metrics and media coverage.
- Support communication activities related to events, awards, and speaking engagements.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-4+ years of PR agency experience, preferably managing multiple client accounts.
- BA/BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of earned media, digital PR, and integrated communications.
- Experience crafting newsworthy pitches, press releases, and thought leadership content.
- Ability to strategically manage client relationships and set realistic expectations.
- Experience in leveraging data-driven insights to refine PR strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Strong knowledge of media tools like Cision, Muck Rack, and Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in project management tools (Slack, Monday, etc.).
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings, conferences, or media opportunities (5-10%).
