About The Role
We are hiring a Director, Growth Marketing to lead Sundae’s marketing strategy and drive our next phase of revenue growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own and scale our paid media efforts, including SEM, direct mail, TV, and out-of-home (OOH) advertising, while also overseeing branding and marketing collateral design. Your focus will be on implementing data-driven strategies to efficiently scale acquisition and maximize ROI.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong analytical expertise, deep performance marketing knowledge, and hands-on budget management. You will work cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations to develop and execute full-funnel marketing strategies that drive high-quality lead generation and optimize cost per acquisition.
This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll define the strategic vision while also rolling up your sleeves to execute high-priority initiatives and continuously optimize marketing performance.
Responsibilities
Own and manage SEM strategy across Google Ads, pMAX, and other paid search platforms, ensuring efficient cost per MQL and maximum ROAS. Oversee and optimize direct mail campaigns, continuously testing creatives, messaging, and audience targeting to improve performance. Lead budget planning, forecasting, and spend allocation to maximize efficiency while driving scalable customer acquisition. Define and track key performance metrics, leveraging analytics tools like Google Analytics and Tableau to make data-driven marketing decisions. Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns to support market expansion and increase brand awareness. Lead Sundae’s organic growth strategy by developing and executing a high-impact social media and content marketing plan. Work closely with Sales to ensure alignment on lead quality, pipeline optimization, and a seamless full-funnel marketing strategy. Continuously monitor and adapt to industry trends, identifying innovative opportunities to optimize marketing efficiency and expand reach.
About You Proven track record of leading and scaling growth marketing at a high-growth company (real estate or marketplace experience is a plus). Expertise in performance marketing and lead generation across multiple digital channels, including Google Ads, and direct mail. Deep analytical mindset with experience managing marketing budgets, forecasting, and optimizing for cost per action (CPA) and ROI. Hands-on experience with A/B testing, landing page optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with short-term execution. Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring marketing teams. Highly collaborative—able to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations to drive business growth. Data-driven decision-maker with experience using analytics tools. Problem-solving and results-driven mindset with a willingness to constantly learn. You expect challenges to arise and you are ready to roll up your sleeves to solve them. 5-10 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or lead generation, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $135,000 - $175,000, based on experience plus opportunity for variable compensation. Competitive benefits package with 100% paid premiums for employee and 80% for dependents. Compelling equity package based on experience.
