Role: Works directly with media buying team to assist in the planning, negotiation, buying, management and reporting of offline media campaigns for an array of clients. Involved in team, vendor and partner coordination, along with participation in client meetings. Assist with the review and audit of client media spending and approval, ensuring campaigns adhere to budget and campaign parameters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Work with team to compile research to discuss/potentially incorporate into plans
  2. Bring new ideas and examples to conversation with account team, partners, clients
  3. Pull Rankers, pull SQAD
  4. Draft Avails Request, distribute w/approval
  5. Pull Kantar reports, formatting for internal/external presentation
  6. Input buying information into Planner’s flowchart, maintaining
  7. Assist in the gathering of campaign performance analytics and creation of reports
  8. Oversee items needing Project Management focus, entry into PM system
  9. Upload buys to Strata and then E-port
  10. Generate IOs, distribute w/approval
  11. Input and maintain contracts for media vendors (outdoor, etc.)
  12. Update Program Grids and Budget Worksheet
  13. Gather Pre-logs from stations for assigned campaigns
  14. Analyze air-checks from TV/Radio station vendors
  15. Compile and maintain media buy Makegoods
  16. Generate Post-Buy reports
  17. Add items to spec sheet
  18. Send Traffic Instructions/changes, creative
  19. Reconcile media vendor invoices, work with Account Director to address issues
  20. Attend meetings (client, vendor, partner, team)
  21. Participate in continuous learning through webinars, vendor presentations, etc.
  22. Observe and learn media buying skills to evolve to role as Media Buyer
  23. Plus, any other request that benefits the client, account team or agency
