Meador Staffing is working with a custom printing company on their search for a Production Artist! This is a full-time, temp to hire position with a company that offers growth once permanent!

1. Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
2. $16 - $18/hour - Depending on experience
3. Full-time temp to hire!

Job Description:

1. Liaise with product managers to define design requirements
2. Review graphics, layouts and fonts before products are completed
3. Finalize designs using image editing software
4. Retouch images to improve quality both in print and digital formats
5. Suggest and apply image improvements, like creating gradients and layers
6. Manage prepress process for print files
7. Follow deadlines to ensure timely publications
8. Archive produced images and graphics
9. Follow up with clients to ensure their requirements are met
10. Keep up-to-date with trends in graphic design techniques and software

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Production Artist, Graphic Designer or similar role
2. Hands-on experience with graphic design software and image editing tools (e.g. Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator)
3. Basic knowledge of HTML and web development systems
4. An ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
5. Creativity skills with attention to detail
