Solomon Page is hiring: Sr. UX/UI Designer (eCommerce) in California

Our client, a well-known retail apparel brand, is looking for 5 Sr. UX/UI Designers to join their team for a remote 5-month contract. The ideal candidates will have 7+ years of UX/UI design experience across web and mobile, with a strong background in eCommerce.

Responsibilities:

• Lead UX/UI design for 2-3 projects, optimizing usability and adoption across web and mobile platforms.
• Ensure designs align with core strategy and deliver consistent, effective user experiences across all devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborate with research and product teams to co-create testing agendas and participate in user testing.
• Lead workshops and design sprints with stakeholders to explore problems, identify pain points, and drive alignment.
• Work independently with product, engineering, and business teams to evaluate and implement solutions based on feasibility and impact.
• Provide constructive feedback and collaborate to ensure the best customer experience, even when compromises are necessary.

Requirements:

• 7-9 years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile, with a strong portfolio.
• Strong background in eCommerce.
• Expertise in UX and UI design, with the ability to work within an existing design system while creating a seamless, brand-consistent experience.
• Comfortable conducting usability testing and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement feedback.
• Bonus: Experience with transactional systems, rewards, or loyalty programs.
