Reports to: Director, Visual Merchandising & Brand Experience
Role Overview
As Visual Merchandising & Operations Manager, you will be a key member of the Visual Merchandising Team for the Americas region, responsible for the order planning, implementation and execution of Visual Merchandising in your area in line with Montblanc global guidelines. Reporting directly to the Director, Visual Merchandising & Brand Experience, you will build strong relationships with the External Boutiques & Wholesale accounts to ensure the delivery of high standard VM across your store network. You will be based in Miami, with frequent travel to the Caribbean.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the VM order planning for display materials and campaign decorations and execution for Boutiques, including Wholesale SIS, Jewellers and Traditional Trade accounts.
- Execute quarterly window installations and in-store product launches for your External Boutique network, supporting the entire Caribbean region, in line with the seasonal creative schemes, global VM category guidelines, regional buy and market direction.
- Create External Boutique microzoning plans for each product launch and rotation guide.
- Ensure stores are being rotated every 4 weeks, and that the VM actions are reflective of the local business needs, including specific client groups, time of year, and product focus.
- Create visually strong and solution-led displays, aligned with the global VM strategy and with a consistently high standard of VM.
- Deliver VM training for store teams, including seasonal leather guide books, new starter inductions, and VM principles.
- Support with the delivery of projects for your region, including new store openings, events, pop-ups and market tradeshows.
- Collaborate with Merchandising & Regional Sales teams for seasonal novelty launches including rotation strategies and product priorities.
- Be flexible, proactive, solutions-led and able to adapt quickly to the changing needs of the market in line with business growth.
Qualifications:
- Previous luxury retail experience within leather and accessories industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, spatial design, interior design, retail management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years visual merchandising field experience required.
- Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite and Digital Photography.
- Experienced at using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or other visual design tools.
- Working knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Flexible, agile, hands-on team player and able to work autonomously.
- Proven track record coordinating, executing projects and training.
- Manage personal travel/calendar and other expenses to an allocated budget.
- Extensive travel requirements – traveling 75% of the week.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends (if required).
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
