About the Role We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive

Design Research Coordinator

to support our research operations, controls, and recruitment practices. This role plays a critical part in managing participant recruitment logistics, coordinating stakeholder communications, and overseeing research facility operations to ensure seamless execution of research studies. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured environment, can juggle multiple tasks efficiently, and knows when to escalate, collaborate, or act independently. While expertise in leading UX research efforts is not required, familiarity with qualitative research methods and unmoderated usability studies is preferred.

Key Responsibilities Participant Recruitment & Logistics:

Coordinate recruitment efforts for research participants, including outreach, screening, scheduling, and tracking engagement. Stakeholder Communications:

Serve as a point of contact between researchers, participants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and alignment on research needs. Research Facility & Tools Management:

Oversee research facilities, tools, and digital platforms to ensure proper setup and availability for studies. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain meticulous records of research activities, participant databases, consent forms, and compliance-related documentation. Process Optimization:

Assist in developing and refining research processes, workflows, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality. Data & Metrics Tracking:

Support the team by gathering, organizing, and reporting key research metrics. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with UX researchers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless research execution.

Qualifications & Skills Must-Have: Attention to Detail & Organization:

Proven ability to manage multiple projects with precision and follow-through (4+ years). Participant Recruitment & Research Operations:

Experience supporting participant recruitment and/or research facility operations (4+ years). Documentation & Reporting:

Strong experience in maintaining records, tracking research activities, and generating reports (4+ years). Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders. Ability to work independently while knowing when to collaborate or escalate issues. Comfort with digital tools and research platforms (e.g., survey tools, scheduling software, participant databases).

Preferred: Familiarity with qualitative research methods and unmoderated usability studies. Experience working in UX research, human-centered design, or related fields. Knowledge of compliance and ethical considerations in research.
