Agupdate is hiring: Senior Content Producer in Glendale

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Manager. A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, client entertainment and attending tradeshows.
• Develop, manage, and cultivate long term client relationships that produce both group and business travel business.
• Create, track, manage and follow up on all business inquiries to generate group room nights, transient revenue and associated food and beverage revenue to impact RevPar performance.
• Provide detailed, accurate and timely communication on groups, corporate clients, and new accounts to Hotel Leadership.
• Perform customer site inspections to uncover needs and present solutions that will maximize booking opportunity and create strong customer relationships.
• Understand and utilize the sales tools the company provides and to follow and support all sales and marketing operating systems.
• Adjust group pricing and recommend group concessions as needed to secure group business in support of hotel budget targets.
• Use company wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects, and reporting for group business development.
• Review daily arrivals to isolate potential new clients.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Attend relevant meetings, including but not exclusive to: Daily Stand-Up meetings, Sales Meeting, Pre-Convention Meetings, and BEO/Resume Meetings.
• Assist with project-based opportunities designed to drive team performance.

Core Competencies

• Minimum three (3) years hospitality related experience selling Corporate Group.
• LA Market and Independent Hotel experience preferred.
• Ethical Conduct.
• Problem-solving abilities.

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
