Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development efforts for our audio, music, video production and post-production services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Media, Entertainment, Marketing of Audio, Music and Video Production/ Post Production, along with a strong network of clients in film, TV, digital media, music and corporate sectors. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building client relationships, and developing sales strategies to expand our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new clients in film, television, music, digital media, advertising, and corporate video and music in development and post editing and distribution.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market expansion.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with production houses, agencies, content creators, and post-production professionals.
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Research potential clients, conduct outreach campaigns, and arrange sales engagements and marketing presentations.
- Sales Negotiation & Closing: Create tailored proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals for audio editing, video editing, color grading, sound design, mixing, mastering and distribution services.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in post-production.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production, creative, and technical teams to ensure client requirements are assessed, managed, and accomplished.
- Reporting & Analysis: Track sales performance, generate reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement and program development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in sales or business development within the media, entertainment, or post-production industry.
- Strong knowledge of audio, music and video post-production workflows, software, and services (e.g., Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve).
- Established network of clients in film, TV, digital content, and advertising industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in post-production, media production, music production or creative services.
- Understanding of AI-driven tools and cloud-based post-production solutions.
- Ability to attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
