UX/UI Designer (Remote) Job at Cella in Dalton

Location: Dalton, Georgia

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $45 - 55 per hour

We are looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to create amazing user experiences within our Digital Experience Team.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute all visual design stages from concept to development-ready design reviews.
2. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to gain a thorough understanding of the product before presenting solutions to improve the visual and interactive experience.
3. Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
4. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, prototypes, and process flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
5. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders using qualitative and/or quantitative data and/or user research.
6. Uphold the enterprise design system across branded digital experiences.
7. Adhere to brand style guides and standards on fonts, colors, and images.
8. Fundamental knowledge of user experience research and testing methods.
9. Contribute to and promote design guidelines best practices and standards.
10. Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
11. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, accessibility, etc.).
12. A keen eye for detail, with the ability to recognize trends and user feedback.
13. Ability to work in an Agile environment, collaborate with other designers, and develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
14. A solid understanding of accessibility and usability guidelines and best practices.
15. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.

Qualifications:

1. At least 2 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or in similar roles.
2. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, InVision, or other visual design and wireframing tools.
3. Proven UX/UI experience for multiple platforms including desktop, mobile, and tablet viewports.
4. Demonstrable UX/UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
5. Familiar with analytics and experience platform tools, such as Google Analytics and FullStory.
6. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction and accessibility.
7. Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and process flows.
8. Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
9. Understanding of motion design for informing interactive experiences.
10. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
11. Up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
12. General understanding of the front-end development process including HTML and CSS.
13. B.S. in Visual Design or Human-Computer Interaction Design is a plus.
