We are seeking an

Sr. Product Marketing Manager,

Azure Business and Market Analyst

to track market trends, analyze insights, and deliver real-time updates to senior leadership. In this role, you will synthesize complex data from diverse sources into insights, craft executive communications, and present your findings to leadership and build rapport. As a proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic, you excel at managing multiple projects and rigorously verifying data accuracy while challenging assumptions. Your ability to manage multiple initiatives with proficiency and adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is essential.

Responsibilities

Strategic market insights:Analyze customer and market signals to deliver factual, accurate, and concise written market updates to senior leadership team in near-real time.

In-depth desk research to answer strategic questions: Conduct comprehensive research including customer insights, analyst input, and compete intelligence, utilizing primarily publicly available resources.Develop insights to influence and impactMicrosoft’s market strategy.

Trend watch and strategic agitation:Stay on top of cloud and AI trends, analyze key developments, provide timely updates on key market shifts, and prepare and deliver effective presentations on these market developments to the broader organization. Quickly pivot in response to new data, business priorities, or unexpected changes in the market.

Executive level communication and presentation: Craft and deliver clear, concise strategy memos, decks, and presentations tailored to senior leadership and broader organization.

Cross-team collaboration:Build and maintain strong relationships with internal product teams, strategy groups, and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment of team’s work with key priorities, initiatives, and organizational momentum.Lead engagements with other stakeholder teams, customers, and the field to understand customer needs. Partner with leaders to interpret opportunities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years’ experience in business

OR Master’s Degree in marketing, computer science, business or related field AND 3+ years’ experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in marketing, corporate strategy, finance or engineering within the Commercial Cloud and AI space.

3+ years of project management experience, excelling at managing multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.

or Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in management consulting or technical consulting, ideally in the technology space.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
