OVERVIEW

We are looking for a

data-driven professional

with expertise in

SQL (Python and/or R is preferred), and data visualization

to support brand strategy through actionable insights.

In this role, you'll analyze and interpret data from multiple sources-both internal and external-to inform marketing, branding, and competitive positioning. Your work will directly impact strategic decision-making by uncovering trends, evaluating research, and delivering clear, data-backed recommendations.

This role is

marketing data focused

and is requiring someone with a marketing data background to qualify. You will not have any direct reports in this role - it is an individual contributor position with room for growth!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize

Python, R, and SQL

to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights. Synthesize data from multiple sources to inform brand positioning, competitive analysis, and market research. Develop

reports, dashboards, and visualizations

that communicate complex findings in a compelling and accessible way. Partner with cross-functional teams, including

data science, marketing, web strategy, and business intelligence , to align data insights with strategic objectives. Support research initiatives by defining data requirements and collaborating with internal teams or external vendors. Monitor market trends and emerging technologies in data analysis to ensure best practices. Provide expert feedback on insights generated by research vendors and ensure alignment with brand goals. Present key findings to stakeholders, helping to translate data into actionable business strategies. QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in

market research, data analysis, or brand strategy insights

with a strong analytical mindset. Proficiency in

SQL and data visualization tools

(e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar). Python and/or R is a plus!! Understanding of data collection, modeling, and mining methodologies. Strong ability to interpret

quantitative and qualitative research

and apply findings to real-world brand decisions. Excellent

time management, organization, and communication skills -able to translate complex data into actionable insights. Background in

marketing, business analytics, data science, or a related field

(Bachelor's required, Master's preferred).

Salary target is $85,000+ annually with a competitive benefits package. This position is hybrid in Tempe, Arizona 3 days / week (Tues-Thurs). If interested in exploring further, please apply to be considered.
