Responsibilities

  • Content Calendar Development: Create and manage a monthly content calendar that includes awareness days, promotional materials for outreach events, research dissemination, and recruitment efforts.
  • Social Media Management: Generate engaging content and maintain a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, Linktree) to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Website Maintenance and Development: Oversee the current website's functionality and assist in the creation of a new website to enhance user experience and accessibility.
  • Newsletter Creation: Develop and distribute monthly newsletters that highlight R.O.S.E. goals, updates, and important information to our audience.
  • Program Launch Assistance: Support the rollout of a redesigned SIU Connect Program for new enrollees, ensuring effective communication and engagement strategies.
  • Metrics Tracking: Obtain and analyze social media and newsletter metrics to assess the success of outreach initiatives and ensure alignment with quarterly strategic goals.
  • Design Asset Creation: Design and produce various materials (flyers, posters, postcards, handouts) as needed for recruitment and outreach purposes.
  • Research Presentation Design: Create visually appealing infographics, PowerPoint presentations, posters, and one-pagers based on current and past research findings to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Outreach help with local and statewide outreach events when needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field and two years of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
