The Freelance Wholesale Account Executive plays a key role in developing the Eugenia Kim domestic and international retail partnership business.


Job Description/Role Requirements:

  • Strategize and execute new business opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance to maximize seasonal buy and in-season reorder opportunities, as well as recommend strategies to drive business.
  • Prepare for appointments with detailed prep sheets, style selling history, specific door performance, seasonal selling trends, and all strategies needed to hit sales targets.
  • Monitor sales order life cycles and ensure delivery dates are shared and updated with retailers, follow shipments to ensure seamless delivery, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Partner with clients to ensure sales associates have been trained on product and visual merchandising guidelines to strengthen business performance and retain brand positioning and brand messaging.
  • Responsible for selling the collections during market via virtual appointments, phone/email, and at trade shows.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Maintain the highest level of client service; act as a brand ambassador (product expert, communication of company direction, policies, marketing plans and in-store merchandising standards).


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of international/domestic wholesale sales experience in high-end or contemporary accessories or ready-to-wear/active brand.
  • Strong sales experience and account management experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation and negotiation skills required.
  • Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, JOOR, and NuOrder.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and solution-based.
  • Strong ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
  • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency.
  • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and is a team player.
  • Experience with trade shows and trunk shows.
